the Living room

Entering the living room, one realizes that the person who restored this house did it with great care and passion. The floor is done in old terracotta tiles, the ceiling in chestnut beams and bricks, all authentic materials put together anew using the building techniques of long ago, and with particular care towards the comforts of contemporary living. One is impressed by the attention paid to every detail - the chimney with the large stone architrave, the steps and thresholds in chiselled “pietra serena”, the decorated walls. Overlooking the living room one finds a comfortable study gallery with two sofa beds.
